Summer Recap
We had a great summer full of fun and adventure. We moved into our new house in early July and spent just enough time there to get settled before we made our first trip back to Nova Scotia since we left last year.
Our new home is great! We particularly love the pool and large, grassy back yard. The boys have lots of room to run and play, and we all enjoyed swimming when the weather was warm enough. William and Callum are particularly fond of the water. Callum loves to play 'Hen, Rooster, Chicken, Duck' and William is always busy trying to learn to swim. Jacky prefers to paddle around a bit in his 'floaty seat (for lack of a better term) and then direct all of our activities from the side of the pool the rest of the time.
We spent almost 2 weeks at the farm this year. The weather was warm and sunny, and we enjoyed many hours sitting outside while the boys played in their splash pool and on the lawn. The last few days of our trip were not the best, as Jack and Callum both came down with Roseola, but that is a distant memory now. Overall, our time in Nova Scotia was absolutely wonderful. I've even almost forgotten about the first week of rain!
Here are a few photos of our summertime adventures. I would love to write more, but then I would miss out on my 'nap time'!

More Videos...
I find that I seldom have time to sit down and write a proper post, which is why I don't update our blog as often as I would like. So, from now on, when I don't have time to write, I will just post videos and photos (I suspect that is what most of you are looking for anyway...)
Here are a few videos from the past week:

Haircuts!
The boys had their first 'official' haircuts today. I say official because they each had part of their head shaved while they were in the NICU, but I don't think that counts as a true haircut.
We knew that Callum and Jack needed haircuts. Several people (hi Bill! hi Kelly!) had mentioned it and their hair was starting to get tangles. When Sonam put pigtails in Callum's and Jack's hair last week (which Will thought was hilarious), I knew it had to be done and soon. Will's hair is much finer. He just needed the back cleaned up. I liked to joke that we had '80's boys - 2 with mullets and 1 with a rat tail.
We decided yesterday that we should just bite the bullet and get it done, so this morning Mum and I took the boys to Melonhead. I felt a bit sad to say goodbye to the baby curls, but it went really well and the boys look exceptionally cute (if I do say so myself haha).

We are on another blog!
I know I am late posting this, but we had a great visit with Daren's Uncle Paul and Aunt Sandra a few weeks ago. Paul and Sandra are temporarily living in our neighborhood while their own home is being renovated/repaired. I don't think I want them to leave! We had a short visit at their house and then Sandra came home with us and stayed while the boys had lunch. It was really nice. Anyway, Sandra wrote about the visit on her blog. Here is the link if you want to take a look:

The posting date is in early February - take your time and read about their fantastic trip as well!
